1. How many International Recruit do you intend to recruit this year?
We aim to recruit about 30 people annually through this scheme.

2. How can I apply for the International Recruitment Scheme?
Application for the International Recruitment Scheme is done online via our website.

3. Does it matter if I don't have a background in banking / financial services?
Not at all. Applications are invited from people with a variety of degree / disciplines as long as you demonstrate the necessary skills and competences we are looking for. You must possess the drive to make a difference and a passion to succeed.

4. I do not have any work experience. How will this impact my application?
We do not look at how much experience you have. We recruit on the basis of your fit with our culture and your ability to demonstrate certain potentials.

5. I do have work experience. How will this impact my application?
Years of work experience is not a criterion for being selected for the programme. We are more interested in the displayed skills, knowledge and competences that you can bring to the organisation.

6. Will FCMB apply for a work permit for me?
We regret that for this scheme, we are only able to accept applications from applicants that have the legal right to work in Nigeria. The Bank will not arrange work permits on your behalf.

7. Will I be provided with a relocation / settlement allowance?
Yes you will. Our recruits from the International Recruitment Scheme are usually Nigerians in Diaspora who desire to relocate back home. We realize that more often, these people have left the country for a while. To ease the burden of relocating we have relocation / settlement packages to assist employees settle down fast.

8. When could I start?
Start employment start dates are flexible and vary depending on individuals and the Bank’s need concerning individual areas. Typically these are reviewed on a case by case basis and agreed based on the Bank’s need and the individual's situation. These can be discussed at the interviews.

9. I'm not based in the Nigeria - how do I attend the interviews?
Interviews would usually be conducted in the country of focus from which we are looking to recruit people.


10. What reward package can I expect?
We operate a competitive reward management system that fits into the Bank’s grading structure. Our reward package is very competitive aligned with industry standards. We also offer a Performance Related Pay to reward and motivate employees.
